hexplot

Scatterplot with hexagonal binning. Creates a scatterplot, where the data have been binned into hexagonal bins, instead of rectangular bins. The area of the hexagon is proportional to the number of observations that fall into the bin.

Input Arguments:

• Data matrix X, which is n by 2
• N is the approximate number of bins in the variable that has the larger range.
• flag is an optional argument (can be any value) indicating you want to map the color of the hexagon bin to the probability density at that bin.

None
